A unified body representing the collective efforts of Murid Dahiras across the United Kingdom. Our federation is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community cohesion, and charitable initiatives in alignment with the teachings of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba.
Registered as a Community Interest Company (No. 13535445) under UK law.
Who We Are
The UK Murid Communities Federation is a unifying body for Murid Dahiras across the United Kingdom. Our mission is to uphold the teachings and spiritual legacy of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, promote Islamic values, and foster unity and cooperation among Murid communities.
Through spiritual gatherings, educational programmes, and social initiatives, we aim to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within the Murid diaspora, while contributing positively to wider society.

Our Objectives
Collective Celebrations
We organise UK-wide events such as Bamba Day and Mame Sheikh Ibrahima Fall Day to celebrate our heritage and strengthen community bonds.
Annual Ziarra
We coordinate the annual pilgrimage to Touba, ensuring seamless logistics and a spiritually enriching experience for participants.
Social Support
We provide assistance with funeral arrangements, repatriation, and other critical support for community members in need.
Khalif Projects
We mobilise resources for initiatives led by the Khalif General of the Murids, including major projects like the Touba University.
Cultural Preservation
We promote the literary and spiritual works of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba through education, media, and interfaith dialogue.

Unified UK Dahiras
Successfully united Murid Dahiras across the UK through events like Bamba Day and Mame Sheikh Ibrahima Fall Day.

Raised over £22,000 for the University of Touba Project (2021).
